Our customers continue to tell us that the blueberries "are the best tasting berries they have ever eaten". Thank you for your feedback -it continues to inspire all of us at Ruby Red Farms. The 2011 season has ended. You can receive an email from us each year before the season starts with information on how to order by filling out the form on the Customer List page. We will send out an email to you to also let you know when the farm stand is opened. If you choose not to order, you can still buy pints, 5 pound and 10 pound boxes at our farm stand or at Moss St market. We recommend coming early to Moss St as we often sell out but the farm stand is well stocked through the season. Our blueberries are freshly picked and packaged in 5 or 10 pound boxes. Keeping the berries cool is important for shelf life and keeping the great taste. Freezing berries is easy too. We just place our berries in boxes or freezer bags and then into the freezer. The berries don't stick to each (unless you wash them first) other making them easy to freeze. You can buy pints, 5 or 10 pound boxes at Moss Street Market. Each season when fresh berries are available, we will be at Moss Street Markets each Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm once the season is underway. Other locations where you can buy pints of our fresh berries include Deep Cove Market, Thrifty Foods, Market on Millstream, Market on Yates and Lifestyle Markets and other local grocery stores. If you have run out of Ruby Red Farms blueberries - don't despair! You don't have to wait until next season to satisfy your desire. Ruby Red Farms is proud to offer our delicous blueberries picked at the peak of ripeness in a frozen pack. Our berries are availabe Thrifty Foods, Naked Naturals, Ganges Village Market, Spuds and other Island grocery stores in the Frozen Section.
